Staff and roles: who helps run your club

Club Administrators, club managers and team staff — each through their own coach profile, never a shared login.

1. Open the club portal and choose Staff & roles. The club's owner — whoever runs the club profile — is always an administrator and cannot be removed.
2. Each role comes with permissions, ticked for each person. A Club Administrator can hold any of the 22 permissions. A club manager can hold the team, match day, session planner and recruitment ones, Manage Memberships, View Billing and Download Invoices, and invite and remove team staff — but never Manage Club Profile, Manage Settings or Manage Permissions, and never adds or changes administrators or managers. Team staff can hold the match day ones, Manage the session planner, Assign Players, the player and coach searches and Invite Users, for their own teams.
3. Everybody works only on the teams they cover: an administrator or manager covers All teams or only the teams chosen for them, and team staff the teams they are given. A team outside your own does not appear for you at all — not its squad, players, coaches, fixtures, matches, statistics or team sheets. With the right permission, a seat can also look after the club's teams, coach requests, applications, adverts, profile text and billing, which only the club profile itself could do before.
4. Everybody on the staff acts through their own coach profile. A manager who is not a coach creates a coach profile first. While they act as another of their profiles, they have no role at the club.
5. Staff roles are for adults only: the account needs a date of birth at least 18 years ago. Example profiles never hold a role at a real club.
6. To change a role, a person's permissions or their teams, press Change on their row; nobody can change their own seat. To end a role, press Remove; to take back an invitation, Withdraw. Every change is in the club's activity log.

• Staff see each other by display name only. Coaches who were already approved on your coaching staff are not given access automatically: press "Offer access" and each coach decides for themselves.
