Your workspace: the Dashboard, your apps and your plan

After you sign in, your apps are around every page: a sidebar with the apps you pinned, an Apps button, the Application Centre with every app as a tile, and My plan. Your choices follow you to every device.

1. When you sign in, you land on your Dashboard: a welcome, your apps, your newest notifications, your upcoming matches, the apps you used recently and your profile checklist. If you prefer, choose My profile as your start page under Settings › Your workspace.
2. On a computer, the sidebar on the left holds Dashboard, My profile, Messages, Notifications, Recruitment (with My applications), Analytics, Settings and Help Centre, and below them the apps you pinned. Collapse at the bottom turns it into a narrow bar of icons; on a tablet it is always icons.
3. On a phone, a bar at the bottom of the screen has Home, Apps, Messages, Alerts and More. More opens the whole sidebar.
4. The Apps button at the top of the page (a grid of squares) opens your apps from anywhere. Type to find one; it also lists the apps you used recently and leads to the Application Centre.
5. The Application Centre shows every app as a tile. Your apps open with one click, and the pin on a tile puts it at the top of your sidebar (press it again to unpin). A greyed tile with a lock is part of another plan: it opens My plan, which explains what the plan includes. A tile marked Soon is being built; there is nothing to sign up for. Tick "Show apps for other account types" to see the apps for players, coaches or clubs.
6. Settings › Your workspace keeps your start page, your pinned apps in their order (Up, Down, Unpin) and the sidebar Full or Icons only. They are saved to your account, so they are the same on your phone, tablet and computer. Until you pin anything, you see the first four apps for your account type; "Back to the default" puts them back.
7. My plan, in your account menu, shows your plan, what it includes and its price. Players never pay. While subscriptions have not started, nothing here asks you to pay.
8. Recently used apps are remembered in this browser only, as the names of the apps and nothing else, and only if you allowed preferences in Privacy choices. They are never sent to the server. Untick "Remember them on this device" under Settings › Your workspace to stop it; they are also forgotten when you sign out.

• Your account menu, top right, is about you: your profile, saved searches, connections, plan, settings, privacy, sign-in, help and sign out.
• The workspace changes how you get to things, not who can see what: your profile, your details and the privacy rules are exactly as before. Recruitment is never locked.
