Cards: yellow, second yellow and red
Clubs
Record each card as the referee shows it. A second yellow card is an automatic red: the MRC app sends the player off, and the reports show Yellow 1, Yellow 2 and the automatic red with their times.
- Tap Card, choose the team and the colour, then the player. Players already on a yellow card are marked Y, and the app says so before you tap.
- A second yellow sends the player off for the rest of the match, or for 20 minutes under the 20-minute red setting. The timeline shows Red card · 2nd yellow with the time of the first yellow.
- In the match report the red cards include second yellows, and the list of cards names Yellow 1, Yellow 2 and the automatic red. Player statistics on the website count a second yellow as one red too.
- Record a second yellow as a yellow card, not as a red: the app works out the red itself, so it is never counted twice.
- Opposition players are shirt numbers only. Player lines with names are for the team staff; a player sees only their own.
