Running the club from a staff seat
Clubs
With the right permissions, a staff seat can look after the club profile, teams, coach requests, applications, adverts and billing — work only the club profile itself could do before.
- Act as your coach profile and open the club from My club roles. The club portal shows only the tabs your permissions allow, so two people at the same club may see different tabs.
- Club profile (Manage Club Profile): change the club's name, bio, place, league and other details, its video, honours and history. You can replace the club's contact email, phone number and contact person, but you never see them. The crest, pictures and colours stay with the owner for now.
- Team administration (Create/Edit/Delete Teams, with All teams): add, rename, reorder and delete teams, up to six in use. A team with squads on record cannot be deleted: archive it in Squads instead.
- Team reports (any Team or Match Day permission): a short way to the squad statistics and match reports of the teams you cover.
- Memberships (Manage Memberships, with All teams): approve, decline or remove coaches who asked to join the club and set their role title; move applications through New, Reviewing, Shortlisted, Declined or Accepted, with the club's private note. The same rules apply as for the owner, and the applicant is told of each change.
- Recruitment: write, publish, close and delete adverts (Create Opportunities); an advert somebody applied to is closed rather than deleted. Search Players leads to the players directory and the club's player pool, and Search Coaches to the coaches directory.
- Billing (View Billing or Download Invoices): see the club's subscription and, with Download Invoices, save its invoices as PDF; each download is in the activity log. Paying, renewing and stopping the subscription stay with the owner.
- Everything done from these tabs is in the club's activity log under your display name. What the club shows to the public does not change.
