How to report a message or a member
Troubleshooting
Press Report in the conversation. A person on our safety team reads every report.
- Open the conversation in Messages and press Report (the flag) at the top of it.
- Choose what is wrong — harassment, pressing for contact details or a meeting, a concern about a young player, inappropriate content, a fake profile, spam or something else — and add a note if it helps.
- Press Send report. The report records which conversation it is about, so our safety team can find it.
- A moderator reads every report. To read the conversation itself they must write down why, and you and the other person both see in your access logs that it was read.
- You do not have to wait: withdraw anything you approved for them (in the conversation or My connections), and delete the conversation from your list with the bin button. They keep their copy; a reported conversation is kept for the moderators.
- To report a member you have not talked to, write to Contact support and name the profile.
- If anybody is in immediate danger, contact the police first.
- Never put a password or a sign-in code in a report.
