Join your club's squad (My teams)

Players

A club can put you in a squad only with your yes, for one season, and you can leave at any time.

  1. Act as your player profile and open My teams from your sidebar or the Apps button (or from the notification).
  2. An invitation shows the club, the team and the season. Accepting, you give the name to use on team sheets and agree that the staff who look after that team see it, your age and your positions — until the season's last day, or until you leave. The club also records your match statistics from the matches it records (tries, minutes, cards and so on); they stay private unless you choose to show some.
  3. If your coach gives you a join code, type it under Join with a code. We first show you which club, team and season it is for; you read the same terms; the club then approves your request.
  4. My team shows the team, its season, the club and the staff who look after it; it does not list the other players. Published team sheets do show the squad's players the names on them. If you joined before the terms said so, My teams asks you to confirm the new terms; until you do, teammates see you there as "Squad player".
  5. If you are under 18 and a parent or guardian agreed to your account, we email them which club, team and season you joined. Their email has a link that can end the place; if they use it, My teams shows the place as ended by a parent or guardian.
  6. Leave at any time: your consent ends and the club keeps no name for you. If a club asks whether a record it keeps of a player is you, you choose: Yes links it to you (the club's copy of the details is deleted); Not me leaves it unlinked.
  • Your squads never appear on your profile or in search, and other clubs never see them. They are in your data export.
