Your match statistics
Players
When your club confirms a match it recorded with the MRC app, your statistics appear on your profile. They are private until you choose what to show.
- Your statistics are worked out by the platform from the matches your club recorded and confirmed: nobody types them in, and every number comes from the match itself.
- Open your profile: Statistics shows each season (games, starts, minutes, positions, tries, try assists, points, goal kicking, knock-ons, penalties conceded, cards, games as captain or vice-captain, and player of the match awards), and Career adds them up, club by club. "Match by match" shows where each number comes from.
- They are private by default: only you, and the club that recorded a match, see them. Under "Who sees your statistics" tick what your public profile shows: participation, attack, kicking, and discipline as a separate choice. Anybody who can see your profile then sees those totals for each season year, marked "Recorded by a club", without the club, team or season; a coach or club you have shared your details with also sees the club, the team and the season.
- Statistics also shows your Discipline by law: penalties and free kicks conceded by law category, and cards. Others see these totals only if you made your discipline statistics public, only from matches played as an adult, and never with the club or team.
- Statistics from when you were under 18 are never shown publicly, whatever you tick; while you are under 18, or if we do not know your age, none are. Only you and the club that recorded them see them.
- Each line says which club recorded it. These are club figures recorded on the sideline, not official ones.
- Matches your club recorded at Analyst depth add Running (carries, metres gained, gain line, line breaks, offloads, defenders beaten, passes), Defence (tackles made and missed, tackle success, dominant tackles) and Breakdown (rucks, jackals, turnovers won, breakdown penalties), each saying how many of your matches it comes from. Set piece shows your lineout throws, and Discipline also counts free kicks conceded and names the offences you conceded most often. Running, defence, breakdown and set piece are separate public choices, off until you tick them.
- If a club recorded you as a temporary player and you later linked your account to that record, you decide whether those matches are added to your profile.
- Teammates see only what you made public, like everybody else. Your statistics are part of "Your data". They stay on your profile even if the club, the team or the match is later deleted, and go only when you delete your profile.
- Milestones such as your first try or your 50th appearance are listed under Achievements, with the same privacy rules (see "Your achievements").
