Changing the language
FAQs
English, Nederlands, Français, Deutsch, Italiano, Português and Afrikaans.
- Press the language button (the globe) in the header and choose a language. It applies straight away.
- Signed in, your choice is saved to your account, and signing in on another device opens the site in it — unless you picked a language in that browser.
- Signed out, the browser remembers your choice only if you allowed Preferences in Privacy choices.
- Emails from us are in your account's language — the one you last chose while signed in. A parent or guardian we write to about a child gets them in the child's language.
- What members write — bios, histories, messages — stays in the language they wrote it in.
